Gabriella Deyi is a television journalist, host, personality, and production assistant in Madison, Wisconsin. She has degrees in Health Science and Chemistry and was a research scientist for quite some time after graduating from college prior to becoming a journalist.
The 28-year-old’s, journalism career uniquely started with an unpaid internship! Her passion for digging deeper into untapped topics, the storytelling of underrepresented groups, bravery to ask the right questions, curiosity for broadcast, and sheer determination to live out a childhood dream quickly propelled her into becoming a local reporter, community television show co-host, and production assistant.
Gabriella grew up in a family plagued by bipolar disorder, depression, and suicide attempts. That experience inspired her into her current role as an educator and ambassador with Mental Health of America. Gabby is the child of two immigrants and a proud first-generation American, competitively figure skated for 14 years, is fluent in Spanish, has traveled to 45 countries, and has won several buffalo wing eating contests!
