You may recognize Allie LaForce from the sidelines of your favorite sporting event. LaForce is a studio host and reporter for the Turner Sports where she currently serves as the lead reporter for the NBA on TNT.
Prior to Turner Sports, LaForce worked for CBS as their lead college football reporter for the SEC on CBS. LaForce graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College with a degree in broadcast journalism.
LaForce was also a member of the school’s women’s basketball team. But she's not just about sports. Prior to college, she was right here on this stage, where she took home the title of Miss Teen USA 2005.
Allie and her husband, Joe Smith, have a national organization that is helping cure Hungtington's Disease, called HelpCureHD. Together, they provide the financial assistance for families to make healthy babies and eliminate the disease in their family line forever, through in vitro fertilization (IVF). Visit HelpCureHD.org for more information.
