Rachel joined Kristina McGrath and Patty Nalepa, 2007 Star-Spangled Salute Gala Co-Chairs, as they welcomed several wounded soldiers at the 25th Annual USO of Illinois event.











WLS Radio's Roe Conn was this year's host at the USO Star Spangled Salute and introduced Rachel during the stage presentation.

Also a recipient of the 2007 USO Heart of a Patriot Award, ABC Cameramen, Doug Vogt, was injured during a roadside bomb in Iraq in January 2006.










Rachel is the newest member of the United States Coast Guard's Silent Drill Team.










A Chicago native and big USO supporter, actor Gary Sinise and the LT Dan Band performed at the Star-Spangled Gala.










After a little encouragement from Gary Sinise, Rachel sings along to the chorus of "Sweet Home Alabama" with the LT Dan Band.
