What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
During graduate school final exams last semester, also known as crunch time, I did not sleep for four days straight due to having three research papers and two take-home exams! I was definitely running on adrenaline and diet coke! And I am happy to say that I did get all A's.

What are your strongest talents?
I'm a firm believer in the value of proper etiquette and have worked hard to master the skills. Recently, I had the responsibility of teaching etiquette seminars at a youth camp for girls in Washington, D.C. In addition, I have assisted young women from organizations on proper fashion styles and image.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
Being the first in my immediate family to graduate with a college degree meant a great deal to my parents and me. In addition, I have continued my education by pursuing a doctorate degree.

What is the most important thing you want the judges to know about you?
Miss USA is a perfect fit for me because I have balanced dual roles all my life. I have a serious scholarly side as well as a fun-loving charismatic side. I have learned to balance life, which is the recipe for success and defines Miss USA.
