What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
The craziest thing I have ever done is gone out with someone I met online. I know that some people have met their soul mates online, but for me I found the experience to have too high of a risk factor for it to be worth the reward. If so, what is your current occupation? Marketing Coordinator for the Deseret Morning News What are your strongest talents? My strongest talent is performing. I have been performing since I was in elementary school. I love to sing, act, host events, and basically be on stage. Performing has been something that has come naturally for me and I've been able to develop that talent. To me there is no greater feeling in the world than entertaining an audience. It's like the world stops and everything makes sense when I have a microphone in my hand and an audience at my fingertips. Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud. One personal accomplishment that makes me especially proud is that I was a spokesperson for the Gold Medal Schools Program. I spent 2 years of my life donating my voice, image and time to teach elementary children in Utah the importance of living healthy lifestyles. I'm so proud of that because with the obesity epidemic taking over the United States I feel that I reached out globally and nationally by acting locally. I'm also proud of it because I feel the most effective difference we can make in our society is with our children and I know that I have personally helped to make a difference. I want the judges to know that I am the woman for this position. I understand and fully welcome the responsibility of being the face and voice of MISS USA. I have the ability to represent the amazing women in the United States who are goal oriented, sexy, sophisticated, humane and intelligent by standing strong and defining what it means to be a woman from the United State of America. |
