What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I flipped a coin to decide which college I wanted to go to. It was between University of Tampa and George Mason University. I was having an impossible time making a decision so during last period, senior year of high school, I flipped a quarter and GMU won best out of 5!

I am confident in my public speaking skills, I am great with children, I consider myself a good listener, I do well under pressure, and I mix a mean martini!

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
I feel responsible for bringing Nathan into my family. Let me explain: My parents now have custody of Nathan who is 6. He's a child of a former student of my mother's. My mom is a Spanish teacher and met Jureska (his mother) years ago. My mom has been involved with helping her get on her feet. Nathan was born when I was 18 and I would take him for an occasional afternoon. My parents were hesitant to get attached, but when I left for college they couldn't resist! Over the course of a few events, they ended up taking custody of him 3 years ago and he now lives with us. He brings more joy to our family than I could ever express.

Ultimately, this is me. I love all life has to offer and appreciate the small things. I don't strive for perfection because that would be boring. I don't take myself too seriously and I love to laugh!
