What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
My prom date and I skipped our Senior prom to go to game 7 of the playoffs between the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks. Wearing our prom attire we held up a sign that said "We skipped prom to see our Mavs win." Everyone loved it, and to our surprise we were shown on ESPN! Luckily, the Mavs were winning by so much in the 3rd quarter we left early and were able to enjoy the prom as well.

What are your strongest talents?
Athletics!! I was blessed with athletic ability and excelled in cross country, basketball, golf, and track in high school. Besides sports, I am very creative and express this creativity through art, styling/cutting hair, baking, and event planning.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
Getting through fall semester. The semester began with my grandfather's sudden death from cancer. In addition, I held an officer position for my sorority, that required me to plan and run our recruitment process, I was elected as a Mizzou Homecoming Steering Committee member, that required me to plan and participate in the University of Missouri's homecoming, while being in the midst of taking an extremely demanding Broadcast class, requiring me to report for our news station KOMU. Though difficult and very challenging, without those experiences I would not have been prepared for the title of Miss Missouri USA and would not be as viable a candidate for Miss USA 2008. I learned and grew from each experience, building character and strength. I look back and see those six months as my greatest accomplishment, at least up to this point in my life.

What is the most important thing you want the judges to know about you?
I'm like trail mix! Each individual piece of the mix is good by itself, but combined it makes a delicious treat!! I say this because I am extremely well-rounded. I am extroverted, personable, and social, but enjoy my alone time as well. I am organized and efficient when it comes to school and jobs, but am flexible in circumstances involving dinner decisions and social engagements. I am very athletic, love playing basketball and golf but at the same time am very girly! I am in pageants, I love to dress up, get my nails done, shop and be with my girlfriends. I strive to live my life as a person of integrity, being genuine and honest about who I am and what I believe in.
