What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
A friend and I raised money for Crohn's Disease and once we hit our goal, we celebrated by jumping out of a plane! At 14,000 feet in the air and with nothing to hold onto, the adrenaline rush was one of the most exhilarating in my life!

My inner strength and compassionate heart are my strongest talents. I have a very determined and independent nature. Give me a challenge, and I'll tackle it head-on with grace and a smile on my face! I'm extremely empathetic, relatable, and I'm always looking for a way to help others.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
When life gives you lemons you make lemonade! I've endured a lot, I’ve grown up quickly and have experienced struggles that might have made other people throw in the towel. I believe in perseverance, and I am most proud of turning negative situations into positive ones. It is not what happens to you, but how you handle it, and I try to emulate that in every phase of life. This is why I am so passionate about character education and motivational speaking. It’s all based upon my personal experiences, which gives me a story to tell and a message to share.

What is the most important thing you want the judges to know about you?
I have a passion for life and a passion for people. I wake up every morning and I know my purpose. I want to encourage and inspire others to find their purpose as well, regardless of how tough the obstacles are. At the end of the day, if I have brightened someone else’s day with just a simple smile, or if I have left an impression on just one person's life, then everything I have ever worked for and everything that I am has been fulfilled. I want the judges to simply know that I am ready for the responsibility of such an influential job.
