What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I've disected a cadaver more than once! This lab was part of my Anatomy class at the University of Hawaii. Just call me Dr. Layfield. I was able to go through college on a full scholarship as the dance captain for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Dancers while both my mother and sister were attending college. Hawaii is the most isolated place on Earth, yet it is home to a wide variety of peoples and cultures. Growing up in Hawaii is a unique experience that has shaped much of who I am. The United States is a country made of multiple nationalities working and thriving together, and Hawaii is a smaller scale of this notion. Living in the islands has inspired in me a true appreciation for others and acceptance of all our differences. |
