What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
As part of an article on pageant contestants for Elle Girl Magazine, I went to New York and received a makeover. They chose a skater-girl look for me with chains, lots of denim, and some extreme makeup. They also took about 8 inches off my hair -- definitely not my normal look!

Please list any schools and universities you have attended or are attending. What was your area of study? What year did you finish at the school? What degree or certificate, if any, did you receive?.
High School: Alexis I. duPont High School; Year Completed: 2003
College: University of Delaware; Area of Study: English; Year Completed: 2009; Degree: Bachelor of Arts, English

Are you currently employed? If so, what is your current occupation?
I work part-time in my family's restaurant business, Cosimos Pizza

What are your strongest talents?
I'm a good dancer, can toss a mean pizza, play classical piano, and cook a delicious dinner -- although not all at once!

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a State Titleholder) that makes you especially proud.
When I was just 5-years old I contracted an illness that threatened to take my life. After months of recovery, I was left with a learning disability that affected my concentration and focus. Since then, I have struggled to keep pace with my classmates, especially in reading comprehension. But with the overwhelming support of my family, strong determination, and lots of hard work, I am so proud to say that I graduated from high school, enrolled at the prestigious University of Delaware as an English major, and now expect to graduate in 2009!

What is the most important thing you want the judges to know about you?
In the "pressure cooker" of the Miss USA competition, the judges might not realize that I am very fun -- and funny. I keep my family and friends laughing, and more importantly, I'm not afraid to laugh at myself.
